This is our home in the heart of the mountain,

Since Durin first marveled in Kheled-zâram!

Delving beneath Barazinbar,

Mining for true-silver, precious and rare!

Lightest and strongest of metals,

Shining and lovely beyond all compare!

 

Delving too deep in our boldness,

Waking a dark thing we shudder to name.

But when Durin stirs in his slumber,

To those halls we'll return, and our home we'll reclaim!
