The lore of the Legend of Zelda series was invented to make a cool background for a video game and not to make sense as a mystical system. Certainly, its problematically simplistic idea of how evil reapppears works better in a game that needs a clear villain than it will in your actual worldview.

However, the association of three (!) elements (water, fire, and wind) with three divine attributes (wisdom, power, and courage) does echo some real-world magical systems, and I'm the kind of pagan who will take that and run with it, especially if there's a catchy tune to set it to.

In Jewish tradition, a niggun is a wordless melody, often used in prayer to set a mood. This one is based on the theme from The Legend of Zelda by Koji Kondo.
